  1. I'd be more mad about the punch if we hadn't also gotten away with trying to poke someone in the eye through their facemask.
  2. There's literally no reason to run the ball this poesession. It's just wasting downs.
  3. Eventually he has to hit one of those, right? It's such a great read and just ruined by overthrowing.
  4. My main takeaway is that Caleb Williams remembered how to throw footballs. I understand that as a rookie he's going to be a bit checkdowny, but he's looked good the few times he's had to drive the ball downfield.
  5. I'm gonna need to see a few more games. But mostly I don't care, running the ball is stupid and pointless. Just go out there and throw it 40 times in the second half.
  6. Yeah I'm a little surprised at how upset Bears fans seem. I'd like to see Williams have a little more confidence to drive the ball downfield and not just take checkdowns, but otherwise I'm pretty happy with how this game is going.
  7. Just admit that the running game isn't going to be a thing tonight and quit wasting downs on it
  8. yeah I'm glad Williams looks better tonight but I need to see a touchdown at some point.
  9. Tyrique Stevenson was getting beat like this last week too, Will Levis just can't make the plays CJ Stroud can
  10. Our defense is going to punish bad QBs and get picked apart by good ones. I'm fine with that.
  11. Ok Williams can actually throw footballs tonight.
  12. He wasn't exactly shaking defenders easily before. This whomps.
  13. Kenny Pickett 2023: 177 total yards per game, 0.6 TDs per game Justin Fields 2024: 179 total yards per game, 0.5 TDs per game The formula is the formula
  14. You're not being objective
  15. Allen out, Odunze in I would have preferred the other way around
  16. He definitely did at least once. I'm being both objective and correct
  17. I think I'm addressing both arguments head on: the post is Tebowing bad qb performances because they won
  18. Is he? Yes, he did make a great throw (after running straight to where the pressure would have been coming from if not for the hold). We're closing in on halftime and he's got 76 passing yards and his first touchdown of the year. I unironically think the announcers are skewing people's perceptions of this game. They're giving absolutely glowing reviews to both QBs while nothing much gets done.
  19. The internet spent all week down on him because he was apparently slow in week 1.
  20. I think when you unironically type the phrase 'leading an offense to 16 points," it might be time to circle back a bit.
  21. That's certainly one takeaway. Another might be that the two teams have allowed 11.0 points per game in those three games, two of which are against terrible teams, and it's probably not sustainable.
  22. Young's gonna get himself Rosen'd
  23. Bates to IR, Collin Johnson up from practice squad
  24. Helping me cope today is looking back at Allen and Tagavailoa's rooke seasons. Tagavailoa threw for exactly 93 yards in his rookie debut and went sub-100 three times in 10 starts as a rookie. Allen went 6-for-15 for 74 yards in relief in his NFL debut, and went sub-100 twice more in 12 starts.
  25. 2 ainec I think i take williams 280 2/2 over another TAWWTTA win
