The whole “not even in its prime” thing was always wrong and nobody wanted to believe it. We have big piles of evidence that players have never peaked as late as we thought and basically have no peak in the 2010s. They come up and mash from 22-25 and that has a decent chance of being their best seasons.

Run differential for the last 23 or whatever games is -1 per game. They’ve been winning all the close ones and losing all the blowouts. That’s what lucky bad teams do. You're better than using run differential over a 23 game sample. You've lost a tick on your fastball from your doom-boner prime. Lol as if you don’t use arbitrary endpoints any chance you get. It would be like if some guy claimed he could do a backflip and then landed on his head. The HR was legendary. The run around the bases was legendary. The bat flip was pedestrian.
