  1. Soto double clutched. The Dodgers batter was leaning across the plate, but instead of throwing into him and getting the interference, Soto just double-clutches. Little things...
  2. Ramirez with a 320 foot fly ball. Fortunately, it was down the line so it looked exciting for a minute. 15 outs to go
  3. Apparently on the Dodgers are allowed to have ground balls find holes once in awhile. sheesh.
  4. Dear Cubs offense, I miss you. Come back. Love, KyleJRM
  5. My wife reminded me of that today. It was one week before our wedding and I drove her and her friends to a preliminary hair and makeup session. I didn't recall any of that, but I remembered listening to the game in the radio and all the details about it :)
  6. The fact that it's happened so suddenly makes it seem much more likely to me that it's physical, rather than mental.
  7. It wouldn't be necessary if Piniella was using the bullpen properly. 12 *is* an extra reliever.
  8. Have any of Koroda's strikeouts been on pitches actually in the zone?
  9. Just one walk. That's all I want between now and the end of the game. One lousy walk.
  10. Do you approve of such meaningless distractions at ballgames? I'm just saying, the Cubs, the Red Sox, the Yankees, none of them engage in that crap and yet the fans manage to pay attention and stay engaged just fine. Yes. People are there to have fun, not observe some religious ritual. I don't enjoy them, but if other people do, I'm not going to belittle them for it.
  11. Stupid people having fun in an unapproved way.
  12. Wow. It was even worse than when I first saw it. It wasn't even close. And that happened after Brenly ripped the ump early in the game, lol.
  13. Hart isn't good, but he's given up a ground ball, a walk, and a bunt.
  14. DeRosa all kinds of bad defensively this inning. Ballgame.
  15. Theoretically to chew up innings in blowout situations. In actuality, no good reason.
  16. There's always a chance of them being hit right at people.
  17. Both. He's got five Ks, but three of them were on horrific pitches.
  18. How many more innings of hacking away before the Cubs notice it isn't working?
  19. Without looking it up, I can 100% guarantee that this season's Cubs have the worst percentage of runners from 3rd/less than 2 outs scored in the history of organized baseball. Okay, I'll stop soon. It's getting out of control...:(
  20. We never score with a runner on third and no outs. I just knew that would happen. Fukubadcall :(
