That is without a doubt the BEST way for Edmonds to win a game for us. We get the win, he gets to feel a little pain as penance for his years as a Cardinal.

I'm pretty sure Wood had it long before Marmol. The little wrinkle slider that buckles knees and ends up right down the middle? Nah. He had the fastball blown by the batter, the overhand curve that drops into the zone, and the huge-breaking slider that ends up way out of the zone.
