When a penalty is called, play doesn't stop until the penalized team controls the puck. So the team about to get a power-play pulls their goalie and goes with six skaters.

The NHL and NBC want this series to end now so they can start the finals on Saturday. Thus we won't get any calls tonight. The Finals date has already been set.
TMMOTI happens all the time in the NHL. It's almost like traveling in the NBA. They see it but they don't call it. The fact that this is our 3rd or 4th TMMOTI penalty this series is just comical. This wasn't one of those TMMOTI where you just fudge a little on the line change. This was a full-on, five skaters in the defensive zone and a sixth about to skate into it.
