  1. Huet and Niemi. Maybe Huet and Crawford. With the cap what it is, they don't have any choice.
  2. Perhaps in the offseason they can work on defending the point. Might help next year. Dang, not ready for hockey to be over :(
  3. No idea what the weird skater show is for the first three seconds: This had a major impact on my formative years :)
  4. The more replays I see on that last save, the more unbelievable it gets. That's up there with Belfour's diving glove save.
  5. Huet will have to play out of his mind again. Because we got outplayed so far tonight.
  6. My feed is suddenly lagging a few minutes behind. Incredible backhand by Kane. He's really been showing it off in the playoffs.
  7. It would have been an awkward backhand with Osgood in position. He made the right play.
  8. It'd be nice if he could finish. He and Brouwer have had our best shots.
  9. Huet's playoff save percentage up to .932. We (by which I mean "I") may have overreacted a little to his last game.
  10. When a penalty is called, play doesn't stop until the penalized team controls the puck. So the team about to get a power-play pulls their goalie and goes with six skaters.
  11. Much better period. Just need a break in the third and hope Huet keeps it up.
  12. Okay. That replay shows that was a legitimately awful call. The "slash" was four feet from hitting a Detroit player.
  13. That's what happens when the other team completely outplays you and you get frustrated.
  14. It wasn't McCreary who called the TMMOTI either. Did he call the first penalty? Another power-play coming for the Hawks. Chicago 0, Detroit 0, Post 1 :(
  15. Eight more periods like that from Huet and we can have our rematch of the 1992 finals
  16. Oops, looks like you are right. It was set, but the league changed their mind this week. This is easily the weirdest run of the major team sports. http://www.freep.com/article/20090525/BLOG09/90525024/1048
  17. Huet's playoff save percentage up to .906, better than Khabi's. Not saying, just saying :)
  18. The NHL and NBC want this series to end now so they can start the finals on Saturday. Thus we won't get any calls tonight. The Finals date has already been set.
  19. TMMOTI happens all the time in the NHL. It's almost like traveling in the NBA. They see it but they don't call it. The fact that this is our 3rd or 4th TMMOTI penalty this series is just comical. This wasn't one of those TMMOTI where you just fudge a little on the line change. This was a full-on, five skaters in the defensive zone and a sixth about to skate into it.
  20. Yeah. There totally weren't too many men or anything.
  21. I thought he was pretty good in game 2, but that's about it.
