That's fair. He's spent four years in A ball and has only looked good the last seven weeks. Maybe another month or so in 2022, his second season at MB. I remember him going on a HR tear. Physically, he’s an ideal catching prospect. Good size, athletic, power potential and left handed. He just has to continue to produce.
As of July 1st, his OPS was .570 in his second season in A+- not good. I was actually thinking he could get released. He’s been on a heater ever since. His OPS is up to .730 and in August it’s 1.339.
Myself, he’s spent 3 ¾ seasons in A ball. I’d like to see him promoted to AA for the last month of the season. If he can just look like he’s not hitting blindfolded for that month in Tennessee, then I’m back on his bandwagon.
