    everyone would hate neifi less if he was used correctly. and if dusty never had him batting 1st or 2nd. would've been nice to see what cedeno could've done getting 4/5 starts. wont happen now.

    He doesn't suck, he's a very serviceable SS just not what we were expecting as a starter. He's hitting in the .260s not .230 Corey was a worse. Atleast Neifi makes contact. He's one of the worst hitters in the game, his OBP is criminal. I loved that HR as much as anyone(I was there, it was awesome), but people are saying that he's on fire when he's 2 for 8 these last two games. He's an awful hitter, plain and simple. BUT HES CLUTCH I <3 NEIFI OMG!!!

    anyone see this craptacular garbage by miklasz. do the cards really want to say they have had to deal with injuries like the cubs? idiot "Maybe Sunday night on ESPN, the Cardinals should take their at-bats against Mark Prior while wearing blindfolds. Maybe the Cardinals' righthanded pitchers should throw lefthanded and vice versa. Perhaps the Cardinals should call up some AA players. Make it a fair fight."

    last night might have been one of the first home games that there wasnt at least one curtain call. i'm hoping to not see any today, too.

    it was a 1-1 count, the whole planet new it was very likely happening on that next pitch. if you pitch out, its 2-1, a pretty neutral count. whats the downside to a pitch out there?

    i could see dusty resoning that the card series will be too much pressure for rookies. even though there isnt much of a book on these two yet and we should ride them while there hot, smart money says maybe 1 start each for them this weekend.
