    Can either Burrell or Murton play rightfield? I'd be for getting Burrell, but it would be nice if we could get him and make room for Murton.

    My favorite of the XM line-up is the Beat with Steiner, and I never get to listen to it anymore. The morning group is not informative in the least. They used to be somewhat entertaining when Bowa was on there. Not informative, but at least entertaining.

    Kennedy asked about Zito and Maddux. Hendry said, "We're not closing the door on anyone."

    Kennedy asks about Ramirez. "We've been negotiating with Kinzer. Ramirez has expressed an interest in staying." His contract will be adjusted and the Cubs feel strongly about keeping him.

    Fitzsimmons and McDonough has told Hendry that payroll will go up and not down. He doesn't know what the final payroll number will be.

    Jim is on. Spent 5-6 hours of baseball talk and then try to be open and fair to everybody, and then digest it and do what was best for the Cubs.

    Ugh...in trying to listen to this crap while I wait for Hendry. Kennedy said that if we get Arod, we should move Ramirez because we "won't want to move Izturis from shortstop." :puker: Furthermore, Kevin says, "Cub fans are going to love watching Izturis play." Wanna bet, Kev?

    They say he will be on at the top of the hour. If I can, I'll try to at least give the highlights. Over and under on the amount of times he says "obviously."

    If the deal was Pie and Hill, I'd go for it. The "for starters" line concerns me however.

    Soriano and Schmidt could be our two if there are at least 15 Type A-B. Pierre leaving would give us one more. The good thing is that Daisuke would not be subject to that quota if we can land the winning bid.
