    but murton is cheap...although payroll is being raised, there is still a budget. Any FA that puts up equivalent #'s as murt will cost us , willis will cost us...its much more budget friendly to just get a FA pitcher than give up cheap young talent to get willis and pay through the nose to replace the cheap talent we gave up to get willis Well stated!

    I'm looking into the Essex, the Days Inn on Harrison and Wabash, and the Congress Plaza. All are about the same price. Has anyone any experience with either?

    Walker is in a slump. Just a week ago, his OBP was over 400.

    The Essex Inn is right by there. I hear its cheap but its somewhere around Holiday Inn quality. Also there is a Days Inn on Harrison and Wabash about 3 blocks from the Hilton. Not sure what you're budget is like, but theres also the Palmer House Hilton a little farther away but nicer. Thanks. I'll check into those.

    Depending on the price, it could. Willis will be overpriced if he is traded. The Marlins will ask for a lot. If the Cubs had to give up Murton, Pie, and Marmol to get him, that could hurt the team. If not in the short-term, definitely in the long term. I'm all for getting another starter. I wouldn't mind Willis either. I just don't think he'd come at a price I'm comfortable paying. And we're not ripping you. We're attacking your post and the way it was presented. There is a difference.

    The Hilton is booked. Can anyone reccomend hotels close to it. The cheaper the better! :lol: And I know what you mean about clothing. I'll definitely have to layer. I might have to ask for some more cashmere sweaters for Christmas. Actually, this IS my Christmas present!

    They only gave up 25. I'm guessing the JT INT return doesn't count... That's correct. If a TD is scored by the other team's defense, it isn't counted agaisnt the point total for the defense.

    That's an intriguing possibility I'd never thought about. Pay the posting fee to have him as a trading chip. I wonder if there's something in the CBA against that, but it's not a sign and trade because the person doesn't have a contract and isn't a free agent. The Padres did it with Irabu, didn't they?
