  1. Free agent DE Kyle Vanden Bosch has agreed to a four-year, $26 million deal with the Lions, according to ESPN.
  2. Glazer reporting Cromartie to the Jets for a 2011 conditional 3rd round pick.
  3. I will do. I'm driving in on Easter Sunday and having to head back shortly after the game. I haven't gotten tickets yet, but have my eyes on some at stubhub.
  4. Are you tryin' to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball? Aww [expletive]! Let's not start a holy war year!
  5. Roll Call! Vance will be there.
  6. Why on all days does my supervisor call a meeting for me at 2 o'clock. I'll try to catch some because it's the first game of ST. Yes, it's meaningless...but it's the first game of ST. I wore my Cubs tie today and I'm ready for some baseball.
  7. Nolan Ryan said he expects the Rangers to win 92 games this year.
  8. Let them both walk, take their combined salaries, offer it to Pujols. FTW!
  9. According to Adam Kaplan, many teams do not even have a first-round grade on Clausen.
  10. I think I'd prefer Campbell or Iupati to Tate. I might would even take Cody over Tate.
  11. GOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!
  12. The Saints only placed a second round tender on Pierre Thomas. Would a team like the Charges consider trying to sign him and give up the second rounder?
  13. Yeah, I agree. I was hoping one of Campbell or Iupati would be there for the Cowboys at 27.
  14. NFL considers changing overtime rule for playoffs. I'm not opposed to an OT rule change, but I don't think there should be a separate rule for playoffs than the regular season.
  15. If I were the Rams or Redskins, I'd pass on a QB in the first and look at taking Pike in the second.
  16. Me too....if I only because I want to see him when the Smokies come to Mississippi.
  17. Wow. There's no way that I think 2 QB's are taken in the top five.
  18. I've never been particularly impressed with Samardzilla. I always thought his best chance at success would come in the pen. Granted, the first time I saw him pitch was a lackluster AA effort in Mississippi. My brother even looked at me and commented about how bad he looked. The Mississippi line-up wasn't that stacked at the time, and they didn't rough him up, but he was less than impressive. He certainly didn't look like someone who could start in the majors. I'm sure he's improved a lot since then, and if he succeeds, I'm going to be happy. I just don't see him as a good option as a SP and that's even while looking at some of the lower end junk we have out there. I'd probably prefer him starting to Silva, but that's about as good as it gets for me right now. I hope that he surprises me, but I just don't have confidence in that happening, but it's nothing against him personally.
  19. Based on talent, I don't believe either of the top two QB's (Bradford and Clausen) are worthy of being drafted in the top five. (And probably not a top ten pick.) That doesn't mean I don't think either can't or won't make a quality NFL QB, I just don't think they are so good they warrant being selected there over players that I think are better. I'd probably rank Clausen over Bradford and think he should be selected in the bottom third of the first round (though he will go higher) and would probably have Bradford in the lower third of the first to top quarter of the second (though I expect he will go much higher). This draft is incredibly deep at some positions, but the high end QB talent isn't as strong at the top in my opinion as it has been. I like some of the other players a lot better than I do the top QB's, so personally if I were a team drafting in the top half of the draft, I would not reach for either Clausen or Bradford. I have a feeling that Washington may be tempted to do so, which as a Cowboys fan, I hope they do.
  20. I'm with you here. My favorite team is the Cowboys. My least favorite team is a three-way tie between the Eagles, Redskins, and Giants. My second favorite team is whoever's win will help the Cowboys the most. My third favorite team is any team I bet on that weekend.
  21. I agree, if you only think you need 100-150 touches out of him. If the Bears can keep him healthy, he's an ideal 3rd down back. He still has a little speed, probably catches the ball as well as any rb, and is good in staying in for protection as well. Use Forte on most 1st and 2nd downs and use Westbrook on third downs.
  22. The Jets signed former Cowboys kicker Nick Folk. This leads to speculation (probably correctly) that Jay Feely will not be allowed to walk.
  23. If the Bears are looking to catch lightning in a bottle with an aged running back, Westbrook would be a better option than Tomlinson.
  24. Eagles are set to release Brian Westbrook. Link
  25. Is it for certain that Lemahieu will not see any time at SS? I thought the organization was going to continue to give him a look there.
