BTW...Hill's curveball is sick! Fun to watch the Braves' fans reactions to it. One fan behind me kept mumbling, where the hell did this guy come from. Great game....Wednesday's game, not so much. Oh, and I only need three more sigs to finish my Cubs team signed batting helmet.

Then it's doable... It is. But teams may view Ohman as a valuable commodity and put in a claim for him. The Score is saying the DL is an option. They can invent some injury for him. OR, he's been injured all along. :wink: Ah...I remember when Remlinger suddenly caught his finger in the chair when a roster spot was needed. Maybe Ohman stubbed his toe or something. -
Any word on who was moved to make room on the roster?

Ohman's option, if I recall correctly, is like the one Prior had and the one Patterson had in 2005. He has the option, but he has to be exposed to revocable waivers before the Cubs can use it. -
My guess is that the team isn't comfortable with Jones in CF even if it's just for a few games. Pie will replace Soriano in CF and be sent back when Soriano is ready to go again. If Pie plays so well that he forces the issue of keeping him, then Jones could end up being dealt. My guess is a reliever will be sent down to make room for Pie.

Ohman wouldn't clear waivers to be sent to AAA. As others have said, teams are always desperate for left-handed pitching. Somebody would claim him easily. -
