I don't think scalpers are evil. I have done it on a small scale and since I'm a season ticket holder for an NFL team, when I can't go to a game, I have made a profit too...though this year I will go to 5 of the 8 reg season home games (Would have been all 8 if they hadn't flexed one to Sund night, my dad hadn't passed two days before anohter, and I hadn't come to Chicago for playoffs in the weeked of the other), last season which was dismal, 6 of the 8....and the fewest I have attended was 4 of 8....and never fail to used the playoffs. Though none of that matters...I'm just rambling because I'm bored. What is important is while I don't care that he scalps or that brokers own seats, I also don't care if the Cubs are attempting to reign in that behavior. Neither behavior is repulsive to me. I can understand why the op would be upset he lost his tickets, but the Cubs were perfectly in their rights legally and morally to make such a conclusion.
