I wouldn't mind signing Edmonds to a deal that replaces Ward's in dollars at something like 1.2-1.5 million. That's a deal that would allow us to cut ties if needed, but if he's still productive in a limited role, we could take advantage of that. I'm not sure if Edmonds would come back with that kind of deal, but if he would, I think that deal would be appropriate.

I'd rank Raines at the top based on career as an Expo. If it's overall career, then yeah Vlad is at the top.

This is good news and it would be good for baseball. Many people don't buy mlb.tv or extra innings because of the blackouts. This would make those services worthwhile to them.
