Are there set dates for the World Series?

I've thought about going up there for the World Series, but the time off from work and the cost just isn't worth it for me. If for some streak of luck, I get a ticket, I'll definitely be there. But for the price of airfare, the cost to be away from work, and all that, I'm just going to try to gather with all the Cub fans I can find here and just watch it somewhere here. Now, I did come for the LDS last year and I think I will try to score tickets to the LCS this year. -

Fonzie-Fuku-Dunn from left to right would be inferior to Dunn-Fuku-Fonzie. Oh, I agree that's how I'd align it, but if they don't want to move Soriano, then Dunn being able to play RF would give us the other option.

On the bright side, this could serve as a way of seeing if Dunn can play an adequate RF. Assuming no major gaffes the rest of the way for the Dbacks, then Dunn could be a viable RF candidate as the Cubs slide Fukudome to CF for next season... :-k

This deal looks more like a salary dump for the Giants. They would get out of paying Winn 8.25 million for next season. For the Cubs, Winn is a huge upgrade over Ward for the stretch run and the postseason as he's a better hitter and isn't a liability in the field. Side note...wasn't Lou Piniella traded for Winn?

I don't think Cuban will spend stupid money, but I think if his baseball people can convince him that there is a player that puts us over the top, he will authorize that acquisition. -
