    I'm not so sure LSU-Auburn will be that low scoring. LSU has a decent offense, even if it is run-oriented. I expect them to put up at least 21.

    This was awesome. I missed the first few innings because I went out to eat with my family and didn't know the game was on FSSW. When I got home, I was about to tune into the NFL game when I decided to check FSSW. I'm sure glad I did. I have a baseball that is signed by Don Cardwell, Burt Hooten, and Milt Pappas. Now I'll have to add Zambrano to that one!

    There's a bunch of Saints fans watching the game over at my brother's house. I was over there earlier, but had to come home for a minute. I don't think I'm going back. They aren't going to be in a good mood.

    :lol: I'm told getting the visitors clubhouse was the Astros' choice after all. I guess they wanted the more "familiar" clubhouse. Homefield advantage indeed. Bruce, if you get a chance can you find out why it took so long for them to officially postpone and move the Sunday game? Tell them a rabid Cubs fan in Louisiana almost drove to Houston yesterday because as of 5 pm, the Astros site still said there was going to be a game... :D It's MLB. That's why it took them so long. Game tonight is on WGN local in Chicago only. No superstation coverage. If the White Sox get rained out, ESPN will pick up the Cubs. Damn! I went from having tickets to this game to not being able to see it at all.

    If OSU goes 11-1 I hope that they don't use the Wells didn't play card on why they lost 1 game. Vance...LSU has a lot of talent but they have to play somebody out of conference. I know it's a bitter point for you, but in the mindset of most of the decision makers at LSU, they want the revenue from the home games regardless of who they play. They know they already have tough games due to the conference games. This year they travel to Auburn and Florida and play Georgia and Bama at home. You may disagree, but those four games right there make for a tougher schedule than many other teams. Last year, they did play Virginia Tech out of conference. LSU knows that if they win the SEC, they're in. They would prefer to play more games at home for revenue purposes and then that limits what teams they can play. Like it or not, with the SEC schedule that LSU plays, they aren't inclined to add any more games that could trap them.

    You're just now starting to get optimistic? We had a great and enjoyable summer this year, sorry you missed out on it. No, actually I've been optimisitc for awhile. I think I posted a similar thread when there were forty games left on the schedule. This thread was simply done to show that as long as we take care of business versus the Brewers, the division is locked up. A playoff spot has been locked up for the past couple of weeks. But glad you took the time to show some condescension. I've been enjoying this season since April and it's been one hellova ride.
