I'm watching here at the house and doubt I'll get out afterwards...but I'll be back in these parts again in November. Baby Dolls right by Jaguars? That place sucks. There is one in Dallas that is much better. I only mentioned Jaguars because it is close. Ok. I haven't been to either, but had heard of Baby Dolls. About five years ago, I went to Baby Dolls Dallas.

    Just in case anyone wants to know, I'm willing to deal. I'm trying to create a team with three good keepers even if it's crap everywhere else....so I'll deal 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 as long as the one is singularly better than what I'm giving up.

    Should I watch this game with the family at my sister-in-law's here in NRH or should I watch this one at the strip club where if the Cubs lose I can drown my sorrows in a nice pair of ta-tas....choices, choices.

    Maybe I'm being too optimistic, but I think we have a real chance to win this thing. Since the AS break, we have had only 2 losing streaks of three games or longer. One that was three games and one that was six games. I really think we win tonight. Now on to better things. Since the AS break, the Cubs have had six winning streaks of three games or longer. These were 7/27-7/31: 5 game streak(Marlins & Brewers) 8/5- 8/8: 3 game streak (Astros & Cards) 8/10-8/15: 5 game streak (Cards, Braves, and Fish) 8/23-8/29: 7 game streak (Nats, Pirates, Phillies) 9/10-9/16: 5 game streak (Cards, Astros, Brewers) 9/20-9/22: 3 game streak (Cards & Mets) This doesn't mean that I expect us to win the next three, and I'd surely feel better if we hadn't crapped the bed in games one and two, but it is possible to win this series. I'm really not going to say we'll win, and in reality I expect we'll lose, if not tonight, tomorrow...but there is a chance and it isn't crazy to think so. It all depends on the team playing like they did over the first 162 games of the season and not the last two.

    I don't think any of these have a chance of happening, but first I'd trade Fukudome + Lee to the Mets for Beltran. Then, I'd sign Teixeira for 1b. We'd have to pick up a RF, but I think we could look to add through a trade rather than FA.

    I'm just hoping that maybe we can go on a Braves-like run with 14 divisional titles and maybe sneak a WS title in there somewhere. Awww...who the F am I kidding?!??!?

    How much would you be willing to pay for a code? Just curious... Depends on if the fee were refundable or not. I'd probably pay 300 or more if it were refundable if the Cubs didn't advance to the NLCS. If it were non-refundable, I'd probably pay around 200.
