    Hopefully Lou is the one getting canned If the Cubs don't make the post-season, I think Lou will hang it up. Hendry is the one I want canned no matter what. This was one of Hendry's worst off seasons. Instead of trying to make a good team better, he ruined it.

    Cashner only made #12? His numbers this year are ridiculous. 72.2 IP only 47H, a .181 BAA and oh by the way, a WHIP of .085 in AA? :shock: I realize he has only pitched 72 2/3 innings so far this year, but those numbers have to be up near the top of minor league pitchers. Is there a reason other than, limited innings, for why he doesn't get more love from the scouts?

    God [expletive] dammit. Literally everyone and anyone with the team right now would be better hitting #2. Everyone knows that if Theriot gets a day off, his replacement must hit in the same spot in the order as he did. :roll: Let's hope that Miles is playing with something to prove. He has been a terrible signing so far, but a hot couple of months to end the season and maybe I could dislike him a little less.

    Not that Stevens was going to get a chance to pitch anyways, but he definitely did not deserve to get sent down to AAA.

    Castro had a terrible April, but ever since he has been consistently on fire. This likely does not impact where he starts the year next year, so let's see how he handles AA.

    Because it's a waste of time. All you have to do is look at Fox and it's plain as day that in no sane world will he be able to be a passable middle infielder. And yes, it would be horrible to have Fox as a fulltime OFer, 3rd baseman or catcher. He has been more than adequate so far at every position they have placed him at (except maybe C). He is not going to win a gold glove, but based on his play so far in the field he is definitely not horrible.
