    There have been articles out there quoting Hendry as saying he still thinks we have a chance at the playoffs, but he's not going to trade the future for a 1/2 year rental. If he does make a trade it's going to be for a player who will be around for a few years. Wilson would be a rental player, so he's probably not coming here. Thank god.

    There's a good article on Felix in the Trib this morning. Chicago Sports West Tenn's coach Bobby Dickerson seems to really love Pie. I still don't want to see him on the big team this year though. I'm really afraid Hendry is thinking about it. I hope he comes to his senses. Some good quotes:

    I can understand that. Like most of us were complaining, the 12 pitchers. I think that is hurting us more than it's helping us IMHO. As much as they talk about cutting the staff down to 11, I'd be quite surprised to see it happen. And for no reason other than to spite Grieve's OBP. Actually Greenberg isn't at the park I don't think. Pat mentioned earlier that in order for him to fly tonight he had to get an MRI for a concussion. If he plays today it would be a miracle. They showed Greeny in the dugout a few innings ago. He's there.
