    D'Backs are imploding. The defense has given the Astros about 10 outs in the 6th inning. It's 5-0 now. Looks like we'll be 5 back going into tommorow. :x

    And Nomar's out of the game in the top of the 7th. 3-13 with the D'Jaxx, but he had a ton of really hard hit balls. See you in NYC on Friday Nomar!!!

    Nomar hits the ball hard again in probably his last at-bat with the D'Jaxx. He hit the ball to the RF wall but the right fielder catches it just before slamming into the wall. Ron says he hitting the ball really hard and he's ready to play for the Cubs. :D

    And Nomar gets stranded at second after a great leaping catch at the wall by Tony Gwynn Junior that takes away extra bases from Sisk.

    Nomar with a basehit to LF in his 2nd at-bat to lead off the bottom of the 4th inning. D'Jaxx down 2-0.

    Haha. The best part about this was that MLB knew about the positive testing, but still felt the need to congratulate Palmeiro with a full-page ad in the USA Today after he got his 3,000 hit. What kind of message does that send?

    If it came in May, how come we're just hearing about it now? Because for some reason the big name players get special treatment and get to appeal their suspension before the media finds out. Raffy and Franklin both got to appeal their suspensions and were denied before we found out about the suspensions. The other joe smoes who were suspended didn't get to appeal until after the media had already found out. Another reason why MLB is screwed up.

    Valverde is absolutely dominant for the D'backs. I don't understand why he isn't their closer. He killed us this past weekend, and he just made the Astros look foolish. edit: Nevermind. Gracey just said he was struggling with some arm injuries early in the year. To the bottom of the 9th and it's Lidge time. I'm not too confident. :x

    The NY Times wouldn't have printed it without a reliable source. They have a reputation to uphold. I was one of those people giving Raffy a POSSIBLE "benefit of the doubt" when he said he may have taken it and not realised it. Now I think he's full of crap. What, you don't believe he accidentally sat on that needle??? :D

    Clemens out of the game in the 8th after pitching another frickin' gem. D'backs pretty much have to score this inning with Lidge lurking, waiting for the 9th.

    Bill Hall hits a liner to right but it's caught, Branyan strikes out, and Damian Miller strikes out. Brewers waste a good scoring opportunity. Going to the bottom of the 11th now still tied. :wall:
