  1. Why? Because OSU/Iowa and UM/Minnesota are on now.
  2. Impressive opening drive for Michigan to start the game. 7-0 Wolverines.
  3. and here comes the rain delay. might as well just call the game a tie and go home.
  4. My ideal would be any teams not including the Yankees or the Cardinals. I think the Twins and the Dodgers are going to make it to the World Series, with the Twins winning it all.
  5. Holy crap, what a catch by Cedeno.
  6. Wow. Nice comeback for the Cubbies. They came all the way back from 8-0 to tie it at 9 in the bottom of the 9th. Hank White up to the plate with a runner on 1st and 2 outs trying to win the game.
  7. More bad news for Mets' fans. Pedro to have rotator cuff surgery and could be out until 2007 ASG.
  8. Why does this organization always assume that because a player has speed that he must become a great bunter and lead off hitter. Isn't the definition of madness doing something over and over again and expecting different results? It really makes perfect sense why this organization hasn't won a World Series since 1908.
  9. 8-0 Rockies with no outs in the 3rd. Quality baseball being played on the North Side.
  10. Sully, that's a really bad idea. Realize that Aramis is the best offensive 3B in the NL right now. You don't just let him go and let Scott Moore try and replace him. Additionally, the chances of signing both Zito and Schmidt are next to zero. That's a last place lineup in support of a merly above average pitching staff. Aramis is easily worth as much as Hendry gave Lee, if not more by virtue of his age. Agreed. That lineup would probably be worse than this year's lineup, and there's virtually zero chance we sign Zito and Schmidt. If Aramis leaves we really are in trouble. Hendry might as well start building for 2008 and beyond instead of trying to contend next year if Aramis does indeed leave.
  11. 5-0 already, huh? Thank god there's only one more game after today.
  12. Alabama beating #5 Florida 10-0 with 9 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
  13. And a fight breaks out as Illinois tries to put their flag on the 50 yard line. Juice Williams was impressive BTW.
  14. Haha. Nice kickoff return MSU. Love it. :D
  15. HAHAHAHA!!!! Nothing gives me more joy than watching MSU losing to a weak Illinois team. I'll say it again, John L. Smith should be coaching a pee-wee team somewhere. He's garbage.
  16. I don't know how much faith I'd put into a web blog, but I'm definitely getting nervous about the whole situation. There are quite a few teams that would line up to get a chance to sign Aram, and I'm really worried he's going to test the FA waters.
  17. Can't say enough how glad I'm going to be when Dusty is gone. There's no way Z should have thrown 128 pitches today.
  18. Len and Bob should have about 10 Old Style's apiece out in the bleachers today. It would definitely make watching this game a lot more enjoyable.
  19. ONLY 3 MORE DAYS OF DUSTY!!!!!
  20. Cards lose 9-4 to the Brewers. They now lead the Astros by only a half game.
  21. NY Times Big loss for the Mets.
  22. Phillies and Astros win, so the playoff picture is pretty much the same as it was, expect there's one less game on the schedule.
  23. Pujols just hit a 3-run homer for the Cards. They now lead 4-2 in the bottom of the 8th. :x
  24. Padres score on a wild pitch. 2-1 Padres lead going to the bottom of the 8th.
