    I love that Floyd is still getting playing time based on his old reputation alone. Might be time to stop giving him playing time just because he was good 5 years ago.

    Carr finally getting fired is the only good thing that can come from this crap. I'm embarrassed as a U of M alum. I can't believe what I'm seeing right now. Absolutely horrible. I've seen 12-year-olds who play better defense than Michigan is.

    I've been living with my fiance for about 4 years now. I think it's important to live with the significant other before you get married just so you know what you're getting yourself into.

    With the sale likely not completed until the start of next season at the earliest, I don't see the Cubs doing much this offseason. I don't have a problem with letting some of our prospects get a chance next season with an eye towards getting better in 2009. And it's not like it would be hard to compete next season in the Comedy Central anyway. Give Pie a full chance next season. Let Murton and Kroeger split time in RF. Give Soto the starting job at catcher. Pretty much gives us the same chance at competing as this year's team.

    Thankfully we're facing a RH pitcher tonight. We might have a chance. I see Snell has a better ERA than our ACE.

    I remember Len talking about it on a broadcast when the Cubs were playing the Reds. The Cubs agreed to the deal with the Reds without knowing who the Reds wanted, so it's not like the Cubs picked Hamilton and then agreed to deal him to the Reds. The Reds didn't let the Cubs know that they were to pick Hamilton until it was the Cubs turn to draft, well after they had agreed to the trade.

    The Brewers' next ten games are against the Pirates and Reds. This season is OVER. Yeah, all of our remaining games against the Pirates and Reds will make it impossible to beat them. Oh, and I forgot the Brewers great road record too...Man, we're toast! I don't know about you, but I'm scared of facing the Reds. They seem to have our number.
