According to Pat Hughes (I think that's who i heard say it), Soriano says that, being a natural infielder, he has always been taught to keep his feet moving while he catches the ball. That habit he learned in the infield has turned into that ridiculous hop, he says. I still think it's dumb. Someone should let him know he's not an infielder now, and that he should learn how to play the outfield properly.
