    XM just quoted Lou as saying Ronny C is starting tonight and Theriot needed a blow (I assume he means rest...otherwise I'm not sure I can type that(or that it really couldn't be said about everyone :D )) If anyone needed a slumpbuster it'd definitely be The Riot.

    It's just amazing how bad these teams are. Cubs with this pitching staff should be running away with this division. It feels like 2004. MLB should come to the decision that the Cubs and Brewers can combine their teams for the playoffs. They take the Cubs pitching and the Brewers offense. That might give them a chance to not get swept in the 1st round.

    It's hilarious how bad this division is. I guess I have to watch the Cubs tonight to see if they can tie it back up.

    That's not true. The Brewers could easily win 2 games in a row at home. But they'd just lose 2 games right back on the road.

    Yeah, Pirates in trouble here. Looks like we'll at least see a tie game after this inning. Hopefully, it's not worse.

    How can you say that when everyone who has seen him in CF this year describes his defense as well above average? 99% of people who see Jeter play SS say he's great defensively. Jeter's a gold-glover. He's an awesome SS.

    True, but the majority of the blame should go to the offense and the opportunities they missed. It's definitely a team loss. The offense sucks. Kendall sucks. Marquis sucks. Lou is an idiot. I'm not sure why Kendall is included in there. He went 1-2 with a walk, that hit was a double scoring the first run, and he got 2 sacrifices down. He did let a run in on defense, but overall he was a net positive on the game, which there weren't enough of tonight to single him out. The people who really didn't come through tonight include Soriano, Theriot, Ramirez, and Lou. I just felt like throwing him in there because he looks like popeye and I don't like him. Free Soto. Theriot has been atrocious lately, and I hate the fact that I have to see Soriano suck for the next 7 years. Aram gets a pass because he's been pretty good lately. I don't even know what Lou's doing. He's starting to lose it.

    It's not really the problem. It's more about the fact that the Cubs suck. They had every opportunity to win this game, but of course they didn't.
