I've listened to Stoney a few times on the SCORE and the crap that comes out of his mouth is terrible. He would be an awful GM. He was excited when the Maddux for Izturis trade went down. I think that says enough right there.
They were all my age! I called one for an interview today, we'll see what happens. An "interview," eh? I remember when you went to the party/bar, found a drunk chick, and took her back to your place. My how times have changed.
Does this mean we'll receive every dollar we paid for the tickets? That's what I take it to mean... it looks like everything minus the shipping. it just pisses me off because now I have to track down a ticket I sold on Ebay. it's a little ridiculous. I'm assuming the person you sold it to on Ebay wants a refund as well. Tell them they'll get theirs when you get the ticket back. I was dumb enough to give them the refund already. :l33t: The lady was extremely nice, so I don't think it's going to be a problem. It's just ridiculous that the Cubs are looking to make money on a game not played, hoping that people don't turn their tickets back in so they don't have to give a refund.

My girlfriends brother (Red Sox fan) just called and asked how I didn't have a heart attack watching Borowski pitch when he was with the Cubs. I told him I had a heart attack on a daily basis.
DeRo is awesome. I'm not mad he couldn't come through with the bases loaded. He's been a great signing and I look forward to seeing what he can do next year as the full-time 2b.
I'm probably one of the few, but I'm not in pain at all. I didn't expect much from this team. I'm actually a little bit excited, knowing that the Cubs will be sold over the next 6 months and we'll be out of the Tribune's grasp. I figure 2008 might suck, but I'm looking forward to 2009.
