    Comical, comical stuff. Towers himself identified the third team. Towers: "Jim, if you can figure out a way to get me (insert name of uberprospect) from (insert name of mystery team), you can have Peavy." Hendry (to himself): "I wonder if I can get (insert name of uberprospect) for miscellaneous flotsam and jetsam." Does it ever get tiring ragging on the Cubs and Hendry? I'd be exhausted if I were you.

    Anyone have thoughts on why Towers is talking so publicly about this? Seems there is no good reason to rule out teams in the mix to drive up the price tag. Is this to appease SD fans on Peavy's pressure for a bad return on the trade? I realize that the GM's certainly have an inside relationship that is only selectively revealed to the public, but this one seems a bit off. I'm guessing it's driving Hendry insane since he's usually so close lipped when it comes to trade rumors. I don't really care though. I love that we're the only team talking trade about Peavy. :amen:

    Everybody hates NSBB. We're pretty full of ourselves. No its not that. We are just the biggest and most popular Cubs message board on the internet. Like all popular things, its cool to hate us. Yeah it is. There's about a half dozen posters on this board who are too full of themselves and give the forum a bad name. Yea, Meph is a real dick. What your language and don't attack other posters. You know better than that.

    Who has the worse QBs - Tennessee, LSU or Mississippi State? And are they the worst QBs in the nation? My answers are MSU and I can't think of any teams with worse QBs off the top of my head. Kevin Craft is horrible. Good point. Michigan's quarterbacks are pretty craptastic.
