Michigan is starting walk-on Nick Sheridan at QB. He's described as a Northwestern-type QB. He has a "noodle arm", but is mobile and smart. Also, Michigan's O-line is going to be horrendous this season. I'm excited for the season because there are players on the team to look forward to, but this is going to be a bad season.
grounder to left. soriano put his glove down to grab it, but he didn't pick it up and he ran past the ball. Wilson moved to 2nd after seeing Soriano whiff.
You act like everyone is saying Hoff is the next coming of Christ. Most people are saying he's doing well in AAA right now and could probably help us in RF this year. Is he the answer to all our problems? Of course not. I would expect Hendry or whatever GM we have this offseason to go after a legit RF and maybe move Fukudome to CF.
roosevelt brown? seriously, hoffpauir's not the answer to anything. but there may be some complacency from fukudome. am i sensing complacency? yes, i think i am. Hoffpauir has been hitting the cover off the baseball all season long. He also did well in his short time in the Majors. Something needs to change. Fukudome has an OPS of .631 the 2nd half of the season and has been awful since May.
Fukudome has been awful the 2nd half of the season and the last month. It's time to call up Hoffpauir and give him some time in RF. He's still raking in AAA.
I had ridiculous seats last night and could see first-hand how nasty Harden was. He had the Reds way out in front on his changeup. They were looking silly. A lot of swings and misses on his fastball too. Soriano is hilarious when he gets into the on-deck circle. He spent most of his time in the circle staring into the crowd and waving at everyone. He's like a mini version of Manny.
Hey, if we're not good enough for you, I'm sure they'll love you at cubs.com You are not very smart. But, hey, keep posting. Both of you knock it off. There is no attacking of other posters allowed at NSBB.
I'm really excited to watch Michigan. It's definitely going to be a down season this year, but I'm really excited about the future. It will be strange/awesome to see Michigan come out in a spread offense and not run the ball left every 3 out of 4 plays.
