I remember watching that comeback from 9-0. Great times. Nice to see the rookie duo coming through to score the winner. :)

Schmeichel has been immense so far this year. He and Gordon (on Sunderland) have made some great saves and kept some games competitive by themselves, it seems.

Solskjaer will be missed, he scored some huge goals for United. Puerta had a pregnant girlfriend (wife?) as well, very sad.

Isn't DeRosa in RF? I don't understand why you wouldn't put Pie in CF and move Jacque to LF. Well you traditionally put your 2nd best range guy in RF, and that's definitely Jacque. Maybe Lou doesn't want to change the angle all 3 OFers see the ball. That or he's lazy and wants the least amount of changes possible.

i love that play! Great angle, too, you could see Fontenot starting with the pitch.

What did they score it? Seems like it should be an RBI unless they take into account that Pie wasn't running on contact.

Giants can still win even allowing the run, bases loaded 0 outs leads to big problems. But that works too. :)

Tonight on Fox Football Fone-in (FSC) they said that McBride could be out 5 months. You've got to wonder how much longer he can play in the Premier League at his age and following that injury.

I'm in. Still lots of time to join, folks. We need more players (victims). I just signed up. You all can thank me later for guaranteeing you won't finish in last place. finally got off my lazy behind and registered. I just saw that this was set up. The team I entered is my "experimental" team so we've started off slowly. I might have to play an early wild card to get some more serious players in there.

Its fine in the loop...looking at the radar the storm appears to be just skimming the northern edge of the city. If Seth or UM or any one else who lives close is at home, they should be able to tell you exactly. I think worst case scenario it might be a bit delayed. I'm 3 blocks west, it's cloudy, windy, storm-like, but not raining. Maybe a light sprinkle but nothing else as of yet.

I am all for restrictions on beers sales and fines for this behaviour. If that doesn't work, jail time. However, I am for arresting fans right now if they intentionally dump something on players.
