  1. Corey F. Hart hits a no-doubter. 8-2 crew.
  2. It's still a really close game, and you don't want CC to get rusty. Leaving him in the rest of the way is a win-win.
  3. Fun fact - the Houston Colt 45s recently became known as the Houston Astros. And by recently, I mean 1965. I'll get off your lawn now. seems like just yesterday to me !! That was way back when you were still shaving, wasn't it? Not only that.... I went to the barber regularly for haircuts !!

  6. Astros doing their best Brewers impersonation on D. 7-2 Milwaukee.
  7. Ty Wiggington HR, 6-2 Stros. Hooray.
  8. Berkman ends the inning with a K, leaves runners at second and third. Jerk.
  9. The comeback begins. Who do you think these guys are, the Cubs??
  10. Randy Wolf out of the game (5 innings too late, imo), and his PH hits a solo shot, 6-1 Brewers.
  11. Bottom line and two transaction threads seem to think so. bottom line cites LA times.
  12. I can't believe this inning isn't over yet. 6-0 Mil.
  13. Ray Durham follows it with 2-out RBI double, Sabathia barely slides in ahead of the play at third, which happened to be about three minutes after the run scored.
  14. IBB to Kenall, loads them up for CC with two outs, RBI single, 3-0 Brewers. If the Astros don't get swept, this isn't shaping up to be the game that saves them from it.
  15. 2 on none out top 4th for Mil. Looks like they're making pretty good contact so far.
  16. I wonder if this includes fan interference calls :(
  17. A few base hits by the Cubs and Dodgers Saturday, and it could have easily been 6.5. True, but one less Fatty Ward HR the day before and it's back down to 5.5.
  18. I think Houston has a shot at not getting swept, but that's about as optimistic as I can be about that series.
  19. I'm going to step out on a limb and predict that Harden allows exactly zero runs on zero hits today, and he won't walk anybody either.
  20. I find it a little strange that they're going to implement during a season, especially so late. This seems to be the sort of thing that really should happen over the off-season.
  21. I still don't really know how to handle always expecting the Cubs to win. It feels so unnatural.
  22. Awesome. Does he still get the RBI?
  23. I was torn between Edmonds and Dempster, with Hill not far off in third. Voted Edmonds. Vote totals so far exactly reflect my thoughts. I guess that means I agree.
  24. Cubs.com game wraps are known to have links to video highlights of some of their games.
  25. When else CAN the Cubs do well, amirite amirite??? ZOMFGROTFLMFAOWTFCUBS
