  1. What's an "internet?" I could be wrong, but I believe it's an old, old wooden ship, used during the Civil War era.
  2. I'm reminded of all the garbage pitchers who turned into Cy Young when they faced Dusty Baker's Cubs. I wonder how long this proven winner of a manager can get paid before people see a common denominator between Dusty and his pathetic, Bondsless offenses. He needs his horses. I have a feeling a lot of managers could look good if they had a .600 OBP 73-HR behemoth to slide into their lineup. Yeah, I also think a lot of guys would have done pretty well with a rotation of Wood, Prior, Clement, and Z. While they were all healthy. Inspite of himself, he did alright. That season, at least. He gets credit for being at the helm of the Cubs' deepest playoff run of the modern era. 5 outs from a Cubs Ws appearance, 9 outs from a Giants WS victory - proven winner, dude!
  3. Fans in Philly were really bad about this. The boos were pretty audible on the first throw over of an AB, so CT and I took to loud, over-the-top cheering every time a Cub pitcher made a pickoff move. I inherently enjoyed annoying their prick fans.

I wasn't implying he was, I'm just enjoying that he looks like a flat out stud against this team in particular.

  6. I know, my express first class window seat to hell has been reserved for sometime.

  8. Is it me, or was that pitch ankle-high and a couple inches off the plate? Not bad, DeRo. Thanks for the clip!
  9. Depends, has she OPS'd over .750 since April with her one good eye? yes i guess you could say she has a good EYE at the plate (but just one though) Her OBP has benefited from an unusually high amount of seeing-eye singles.

  11. Natspos well on their way to losing their 12th in a row. I really don't like the idea of them carrying that kind of losing streak into Chicago.
  12. Pat and Ron saying Isringhausen is done for the season. That Cards' surge isn't looking very good. They also said it's career-threatening
  13. He posted yesterday that he didn't see the Reds winning a game this series. Wonder how he feels about Dusty these days. From what I recall, he knew enough to loathe Dusty's presence in Cincy before ST was ever underway. If I were him, I'd be eagerly awaiting football season right now. Can't blame him for being scarce.
  14. He strained his neck looking up at where the Cubs are in the standings. Yea, weak, I know.
  15. WTG Cobs. Ok, so I know you're winning a bunch of baseball games and have that whole (tied for) best record in the majors thing going on, which is incredibly sweet, don't get me wrong, but I'd really enjoy it if you could put up some offense BEFORE the 8th inning once in a while. kthxbye.
  16. The exact story I heard was, he was being himself. Sounded pretty clear to me.
  17. Cincinatti is almost in Kentucky, which is almost in the South, which is where Columbia is. Since the Braves' season ended in mid-June, you are now in Cincinatti's market.
  18. I'm glad that Dusty in this division is living up to every expectation we had of him. It's sooooo nice being on this end of his stupidity.
  19. Yes that would be excellent, and most appreciated. Then it shall be done Awesome, looking forward to it!
