Why did I have to leave the audio on while I went into the other room? Why do I get excited when the Cubs pull to within 6? So as to not disrupt, I'll go back into the living room and continue watching Deja Vu. (For the record, I was in the living room watching TV starting in the top of the 9th last night.)
lol, you already can't be correct. I originally typed it as 12-11, then went back and corrected. I guess I'm going to go EVEN FARTHER out on a limb by predicting that maybe--MAYBE--the Cobs won't be able to come back and make a game out of this one after all. :pig: :flame: :-$
If the stros are out of it and the Cubs have HFA locked up, then no that game doesn't happen. I've been wondering: what do the Cubs have to do to get the HFA? They've got a MN of 4 over Philly to clinch HFA.
McGahee (sp) and Hoff combine for three HR, Soto finally decides to heal himself and hit 1 or 2 of his own. Cubs win 12-10. Forgive me if I don't stick around to witness this, however.
First pitch of the game is almost always a get-me-over fastball, which happened to get roped. Next batter reached on a well-placed bloop. Next batter was Pujols. Rough start, but I'm not worried. (The 3-0 count here sucks though.)
I keep checking the top of this thread and cubs.com expecting to see WGN broadcasting this game. Cosby Show, Cosby Show, Becker, and America's funniest pets and people. That's adequate compensation. :( Win please.
