    My hatred for them is definitely kicking in. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that 100% of this season's games have been against Milwaukee, but they're now above Houston and StL in my book.

    The very next pitch was a wild pitch in addition to being ball four (Pierre goes from first to third on the play). You could also see every vein in his neck and face when he was yelling for fan interference. In fairness to KGon, the ball he booted was a slow-rolling grounder that he had to rush to have any prayer at all of getting two, and I don't think a clean play and spotless turn at second gets Cabrera. (It still would have gotten an out and led to a 3-3 tie going into bot 8.)

    With some exceptions, this was the case last year as well too. I went back and watched the full half inning of aram's walkoff about every other day for the whole second half of the season.

    That makes his reaction that much more ridiculous. He's solely responsible for that incident even being remembered in the first place. He probably should have continued to never admit this.

    I know - this board is already in full meltdown mode. Its hilarious. If you want to tease yourself with the waste that these last games of the season are sure to be, then have fun. Those of us who are smart enough to know the season is lost are going to spare ourselves the anguish of anticipation and inevitable disappointment.

    What an ignorant post. Does this poster not realize that Fukudome wasn't even alive during WW2? Even if he had been around, relations between Japan and the U.S. have drastically improved over the years, as Japan is now an ally of ours. Finally, if you're a Cubs fan, don't you root for your team to do well? To not do that because you dislike a player's nationality is incredibly petty, close-minded, racist, and simply pathetic.     I wouldn't consider it an injustice as much as it's proof that wins is a stat that has no place in competent discussion about quality of pitcher. This game was complete bullcrap, with the obvious exceptions of people named either Carlos or Fuku.

    sonuvabitch. Brewers really need to go away. After the full 07 season I wasn't sure, but they are definitely the new cardinals.
