  1. I would think so. I don't think the Giants will trade him, though.
  2. Agreed, and very realistic.
  3. What about Assad and Civale? Assad back to Iowa?
  4. His xERA for the last 6 weeks or so is close to 6.00. If we actually get him, I hope you're right, though.
  5. Gausman has been pretty bad lately. I'd be disappointed, if he's the only SP we get. That said, it sounds pretty realistic.
  6. PCA's fWAR is 0.1 higher than Shohei at the moment.
  7. Pete saved Civale's first outing as a Cub for this season.
  8. Seiya walked three times in 3 innings. I bet that's pretty rare.
  9. That was the best Alcantara catch that I've ever seen so far.
  10. It's OK, because we're gonna score more, anyway.😁
  11. But, good for Peterson who needs a night like this.😃
  12. Let Carson or Miggy hit there, instead of Bregman. Aside from PCA, our catchers have the highest wRC+ with RISP.
  13. Miggy had a great season last year, until he got hurt. He was an RBI machine, and I think his wRC+ was over 120. If I remember correctly, his average with RISP was close to .500 with wRC+ over 200. Knowing he was healthy again, why would the Cubs trade him in the off season? He's not as good this year, though he's healthy. Either way, trading for a catcher doesn't make sense at all.
  14. Javy sucks with Amaya. His ERA with Miggy is 7.61, with Carson, 1.91, not including tonight.
