Blair is heavier than Granger and will play a position that will cause him to incur much more contact than Granger. Again it's a long term issue, not the next 2-4 years. He's had the knee questions for a while. Nothing has changed from when his stock was rising.
Blair's knees are extremely worrisome. The guy's knees actually have no acls. Yeah and he dominated in college on a historic level without them. It's not as if the Bulls are the only one passing on him. It seems to be the consensus that his knees are in really bad shape. Arthritis isn't something that goes away. It gets worse as you age. It also gets substantially worse when you put a lot of strain on the affected area. 82 games a season running up and down a hardwood court would definitely qualify in that category. Blair's a great talent, but bad knees on a big in basketball? Yikes. You know who else everyone was freaking out about with bad knees and possible arthritis causing a drop? Danny Granger
Contracts are only fully guaranteed 2 years now right? I understand the knees are a concern but the dude was an absolute monster with the same issues in college. He'll be fine for the first handful of years of his career.
Either him or Deng have to be moved. I would've rather had Blair but Gibson's not bad. Even if he is moved you just grabbed two of the same dude to replace him. It's really not much different than the T'Wolves PG's. Is there any possibility Blair could fall to 35? Joe needs to package two 2nds and something to grab him.

Daye better pray that he's in the D-League this year and Curry is fired before he makes his debut with the Pistons. If not he's destined for the same fate as Amir Johnson, because he'll only be played at the 4 rather than the 3 and get abused physically.
Worse than who? I think Minnesota taking 2 PG back to back was awful. I think both can be good players in the league, but Rubio/Flynn will only be able to be PG's as neither are big enough or good enough shooters to move to SG. It was a play on "worse" instead of "worst"
Damnit I wanted Clark. Wouldn't mind going bpa and taking Holiday here. They brought him in for a workout early and he impressed. He, Clark, Daye and Mullens are supposedly the 4 they've targeted. Give me Blair before Daye or Mullens.
That's a lot of tweener crap for Amare. Biedrins is pretty legit, and Azubuke will play well in that system As will Curry if that's the deal. The Nets will be awful next year but they're kind of like a poor man's Thunder now.
