  1. I appreciate the input, man. My RB situation is pretty crummy. I have Pacheco, White, Ford, Robinson Jr., and Dowdle. I had the 4th pick in a 10-man league, snake draft. I usually take my first RB in the 3rd round and that strategy has worked out well for me. Unfortunately, the mid to late rounds didn't fall in my favor, but I'm banking on someone being impatient and dropping a good RB2 at some point. My gut says White and I needed to confirm it with someone, so thank you. My gut also said start Rashee Rice over Tee Higgins before the injury news came out and thank goodness I did!
  2. Bummer. Ohio is a pretty state though. I have been all over the state for various reasons.
  3. Where you at man? Bears coverage stretches pretty far.
  4. My RB2 dilemma for Week 1 will be Jerome Ford (vs. Cowboys) or Zamir White (@ Chargers). I don't love either option.
  5. As much as I would love to see it, especially Pegula given all that she's been through with her mom's health, it seems like a foregone conclusion that we're getting another Swiatek/Sabalenka final.
  6. A thread for those of us who can't make a decision.
  7. That has nothing to do with St. Louis fans bailing on the team. They did it early in the season when they got off to a lousy start, came back when the team began to win, and bailed a second time post-All-Star Break when the team hit the skids again. There are some good, loyal and knowledgable fans in St. Louis. It's just that they are all over the age of 40. A lot of those fans hate the "baseball's best fans" moniker. It's the below 40 crowd that thinks the Cardinals should be infinite WS champs. The organization itself is also just douchey. Parading the commissioner's trophies around every opening day reeks of inferiority complex. "Hey look at us! We won a bunch of these. Remember? Remember?"
  8. And Zac Gallen was a part of the Alcantara trade also. Oof! I absolutely love what is happening in St. Louis right now. "Baseball's best fans" have quit on their team again and attendance is averaging 10,000-15,000 per game.
  9. So the Cardinals wouldn't part with Dylan Calrson in a package for Soto, soon after soured on him and traded him to TB for Armstrong, and then DFA'd Armstrong and lost him to the Cubs? lol
  10. Coco also has a tough one next against Navarro.
  11. Best match of Popyrin's career! He played some brave tennis tonight. Never backed down even when Djokovic started to turn up the heat.
  12. Absolutely devastated by the news this morning. Every drunk driving arrest should come with prison time and I say that as someone who has made that mistake in my younger years. Killing someone because of drunk driving should be life in prison. In the age of ride sharing programs especially it is an inexcusable offense.
  13. It is a very, very small campus. Less than 10,000 student enrollment.
  14. Small university outside of St. Louis and I'm not sure why. That is a massive step up in competition for them.
  15. I am stunned. lol
  16. van de Zandschulp is going to serve for it coming out of the break. Never saw this coming.
  17. Patrick Kane getting a bobblehead night for Detroit kind of makes me want to throw up.
  18. Fair point. I still don't like the age cut off though. Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but the difference in age between Crevier and Phillips is about 3 months. One made the list and the other didn't.
  19. Major upset alert happening right now. Alcaraz is down 2 sets to love against van de Zandschulp.
  20. I only read the Hawks list but the same should hold true of other teams. Celebrini is still currently a prospect. If he plays 80 games in the NHL this year he becomes an established part of the Sharks and a roster lock for 2025-26. Only my opinion but I no longer consider those guys prospects. They are proven commodities. A prospect is regarded as someone "likely" to succeed. Bedard has already proven he's a top 50 player in the league. He'll still make progress in his game and end up a top 10 maybe top 5 player soon but we know what he is.
  21. Bedard being on the list is misleading. If there's zero chance of a demotion they should be considered graduated prospects. Nazar, Moore, Boisvert, and Levshunov should all be quality NHL players soon. I have a lot of faith in Rinzel, too.
  22. Backup goaltender Laurent Brossoit had meniscus surgery and will miss approximately 5-7 weeks.
  23. I'm a Cubs fan but I also root for these guys on an individual level when they put on the blue pinstripes. I am honestly super happy for Christian Bethancourt. He played the game of his career today.
  24. High fives to everyone who stayed watching this game.
