Lodolo pitches 1 2/3rds inning, 2 horsefeathers runs. They haven’t been fun to watch since the 4th of July weekend.

3 games back of 1st, 6.5 ahead in the wild card and shrinking? These are still the cubs people.

“Luck” and BABIP shouldn’t matter when you’re spotted 3 runs and Lodolo leaves the game after 1 2/3rds innings. They couldn’t hit the Orioles garbage pitchers and it’s no different tonight vs the Reds pen.

It’s so nice not seeing Brujan in the lineup during scheduled off days for the regulars.

Just waiting for round 2 of a Swanson 3 week year and another Busch hot streak in time for the top of the order to start slugging in unison. 2 homers from our 1-4 in the last 13. That way they’ll at least pass the eye test.

Good choice in going to Keller there. I like him in the 8th in 3> run games.

Cubs bats stopped scoring against bullpens. Seems Iike it’s been this way since the all star break.

The difference now is they can’t even to other teams bullpens like before. They’ll score a few runs early on most days and call it quotes after the 4th of 5th inning

Move Happ back to leadoff now that he’s starting to heat up so bullpens can stop exploiting the lefty heavy top of the order

Brewers will end the day with the highest run differential in baseball by 6 runs as of now. A week ago cubs and brewers were separated by 24 runs.
