If you think people should be upset at taking the starting pitcher, who began the year on the IL, out of the game with 99 pitches in early May, I respectfully disagree.
I figured they'd wait to send Mervis down until Bellinger comes back. Hard to argue with this though. Here's Wisdom's chance at consistent ABs for a few weeks.
On one hand, a no hitter seems like a very real possibility. On the other hand, maybe if he gives up a hit, he'll unravel a bit. Anecdotally, that feels like that happens in situations like this.
