    Anyone else feel he has a ‘run-you-down-in-a-cornfield-with-a-tractor-to-water-the-crops-with-your-blood-then-feed-those-crops-to-your-family’ type face? Not saying that’s how I feel, just, you know, something I’ve heard around.

    Yeah, rose colored glasses sounds about right. I do the same thing with Alcanatara as well.

    Then do the total WAR for 1st round players/Top 100 prospects who were traded prior to making their MLB debut. (or point me in the right direction if possible, because now I’m curious.)

    Our 3rd best prospect comps to Zach McKinstry? Woof. I always thought there was supposed to be more there than a 112 wRC + and a 3 win infielder. *Again, thank you for taking the time to write this up!

    Yeah, Kepley and Harshorn are fun. Would be nice to have some draft picks turn out. Looking back at their first rounders the past decade is pretty abysmal until the last few years. It would be nice if Alcantara could ever figure out how to not look lost in a batter’s box.

    Does drafting more HS arms with Z and such on board make more sense moving forward? Get the arms while they are fresh and with less miles? Thinking they could sculpt them, so to speak?

    it's a niche, right? Gotta be good enough to be in the MLB, not good enough to start, and defensively viable. And willing to not take a starting gig for the A’s, Angels and their ilk.

    My favorite scenario is where KA takes RF and runs with it, pushes Seiya to primary DH, and Mo spends time in AAA learning to catch enough to be the #2 for Amaya next year. Be nice if Javy and Rizzo turned into our CF and RF of the next half decade.
