Pleasantly surprised. These days it feels like the bullpen will give up a run in every inning they pitch.

This club has had their offensive struggles in a lot of years after 2016, even the following year/s. But this offense is somehow even worse.

Yeah, I am saying that pitch count sucks. There is no significant difference between Brown being on 93 pitches through 7 innings and potentially finishing it out at 110-115 pitches. But you just know the bullpen will come in and we will lose 2-1.

Yep. “Pitch count” is such an overrated thing. He’s a 24 year old who has been pitching for years. His arm isn’t going to fall off.

Brown is damn outstanding. Steele was outstanding yesterday. Imanaga is Imanaga. Assad has been excellent. Wicks sill eventually return. Build the roster around those guys.

Jed does more talking to the media than he does doing anything of any note. Let’s build him his statue when he can build a 90+ win roster.

Nice 5 game losing streak lately. It would have been great if Counsell didn’t skip an Imanaga start against the Cardinals, despite Shota lining up to face the Brewers anyway. Maybe then this team would have won on the weekend.

Although it’s incredible to get yet another story of Morel being a great guy, who is always smiling. I would also love him to hit the baseball for base hits. That would be even better.

And yet another game where the hitters start getting hits in late innings. Do it in the first 6 innings ffs.
