  1. Meanwhile, Kyle Schwarber has hit 2 home runs and a double in his first 3 AB’s tonight.
  2. Yeah, in all seriousness, haven’t felt that horsefeathers after a loss in a while.
  3. Disappointing loss. If only Lopez didn’t take a hit of Belli’s reefer before he went out to pitch. 😞
  4. New tactic. Hit the baseball where De La Cruz is not.
  5. Another 15-20 pitches really wouldn’t have killed Taillon. So horsefeathers weird to take a cruising veteran out after 7 innings.
  6. That was an excellent stop from Busch. The baseball could have bounced right open his glove, such good hand positioning.
  7. “This smells like Taylor Swift.” Um. Eww.
  8. 14 runs today is only this lineups equal 2nd highest score of the last 6 games.
  9. And just like Mike Trout, I am letting Ohtani’s entire career pass me by without watching any of it because I can’t sit down to watch another 3 hours daily after the Cubs. What a unicorn. Documentaries are going to be made about Ohtani,
  10. 70-66. Now that’s a record I like seeing.
  11. You know that an eye glasses chain would never want to be a MLB sponsor. Umpires might tank the entire company.
  12. This is baseball’s version what tanking looks like lol.
  13. We’ve got some real loses in the bullpen. This is horsefeathers.
  14. This is going to be disastrous if the pen chokes away a 4 run 9th inning lead.
  15. I went off Googling and apparently the most runs scored in a 3 game series is 78 runs between Brooklyn and the Pirates in 1950. The series ended 2-1 to Brooklyn. Now we just played a 3 game series where the Cubs swept the series and 64 runs were scored. So if the “you” in your post means one of the teams and not the Cubs specifically, the most runs scored combined in a series where one of the team is swept could be the series that was just played.
