This team is done barring a drastic turnaround. They also only hold a tiebreaker over the Giants. Dbacks, Marlins, and Reds will get in even if they end up tied at the end for WC3.

Jed went out and got Candy. He was pretty much the top available bat the deadline if I’m not mistaken.

He didn’t build enough pitching depth. Tons of relievers were available at the deadline and he stood pat. Ross had no choice but to ride his top arms in the pen.

You'd win easily. Unfortunately, Ross is pretty set on his player usage and daily lineups. There is no reason Seiya shouldn't be hitting 4th behind Belli.

I’m proud of the effort no matter what happens. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be pissed if we blow this but no one expected us to be here. Everything had to go right for this team to contend.
