I remember the year before being similar as well. When it warms up he really gets into a groove. Im expecting him to finish the season very strong. -

I keep having to remind myself that hes a rookie and that we have seen current Cubs players (PCA, Amaya etc.) be absolutely terrible for a decent period of time and then they make adjustments and really take off. I got faith that the current coaching structure will complete that same goal with Shaw. Still a big time believer in him.

Not a bad play either but i still think he can contribute positively out of the bullpen with his 2 pitch combo

I still like Brown, but he needa to go to the bullpen for the rest of the year. I think he can still start long term but this isnt the year to test that. We need at least two pitchers at the deadline.
