  1. Good news for us i guess, maybe yankees get hot and wet for Bellinger if they whiff on Soto
  2. Guess Thaiss really is their guy
  3. Guess Hoyer just gave up on creating a pipeline of talent from Japan. Really bad look to trade Suzuki
  4. Is this just some random dude
  5. A lot of flak around here about small sample sizes and here Hoyer gives an ol boy 30 mil based on 40 innings.
  6. I bet they pick up Buehler and Bieber as a multi year project
  7. No wonder Ohtani joined the Dodgers. Spending big even tho they just won the world series while the cubs are cutting payroll
  8. Probably? Those new coaches will probably be the highlight of the offseason. And some dumbo fans will eat it up.
  9. Refusing to even meet with Soto and giving Thaiss a 40 man spot is kind of a dead giveaway on this
  10. They must be serious about getting those young kids some chances in the outfield this year.
  11. Total fail of a trade that Kimbrel one. I really liked the return when it happened
  12. Jeds overall body of work is a fireable offense
  13. Im excited to see who the next big coaching addition will be for the cubs. Only team in baseball prioritizing coaching signings over players. Hoyer must be onto something!!1!
  14. Yeah any hope of him landing here is copium. Him being limited via international rules is more of a detriment id say. Hes trying to maximize his earning potential for his first actual MLB contract. Im pretty sure he will prioritize teams that have a track record of handing those big time contracts out like the Dodgers, Yankees and Mets. Also all three of those teams have been wildly more successful playoffs wise than the Cubs as of late while not crying broke after every other year.
  15. Yeah hes going to look great on the dodgers. Will be fun to watch Sasaki, Yamamoto, and Ohtani on the same team
  16. The rotation just improved immensely by him not being here. Was afraid he’d be back
  17. Not surprised, he had a very meh season. Wouldnt have this kind of money on the market. they should be able to trade him for a solid piece if they pick up some money on the deal
  18. People see coaches fired and think change is on the way even if Hoyer is running out the same crap team next year. How do I know people are this stupid? 2.9 million fans showed up this year, a little more than last year despite this team being marginally different but a shiny new coach made it seem like things were going to be drastically different.
  19. Im fairly confident TT is on the cubs payroll, bro just ignored everything i said and glazed the cubs FO again
  20. Like i get it, some of you adore Hoyer and dont care that this regime hasnt won a single playoff game in his tenure but its ok to criticize token moves
  21. Like you guys dont think theres any chance some meaningless coaches were let go to show or impact common fan perception that this seasons failure to make the playoffs yet again is unacceptable? No this new 1B coach is the new messiah?
