Maybe this is swaying my perception, as he was pretty cool and a regular guy when I've met him. a guy i know worked at a wrigleyville bar when samardzija was first up but not very successful yet. he said jeff would often come in and drink by himself for a long while before making an extremely casual (and unsuccessful) effort to pick up a woman on his way out.

Been fine for me down in Bloomington. yeah, 59 in peoria has been great, no dropoff from last year.
