shocked that wasn't a double -
not necessarily a huge thing, but i really like going to strop against the middle of the order.

stupid shifts have ruined my ability to watch baseball. i used to have some idea of what to expect from hard-hit ground balls, now everything is just PLEASE NOT AT SOMEONE as they shift to the second camera angle. even against teams that don't shift much, i have no idea what's going on.

i know he's a professional baseballer and has this worked out, but i don't understand how motte can jump and throw the ball to first as hard as he can without putting 1/10 in the crowd
