DEFINITELY INCORRECT BUT FUN THEORY russell has a slider speed bat and great approach crushes everyone in the low levels where everyone sucks and can't throw hard as he advances, he realizes he is overmatched by good fastballs and has no choice but to be super aggressive on anything he can handle and keeps hitting well but his walk rate plummets reaches major leagues, everyone has a good fastball, russell is screwed
