    lol. He had 1.4 over 468 PAs heading into this season. 1.9 in 93 now. also started out hot last year (.920 OPS in first half - 34 G) before tailing off (.637 in 2nd half - 50 G), but that may have been largely attributable to a lingering foot injury that kept him unable to play C will be really interesting to see how his season plays out yeah, he was pretty hurt for like the last three months last year but played through it and put off surgery until after the season. i like him a lot.

    tonight was also an important developmental step for our young guys. it will quickly be ingrained in them that they can never win in busch stadium and should never try. even in future seasons with better and better teams, the screams of the ghosts of the cardinals' suicide-by-dui all-stars will be deafening.

    we got lucky early on cuz pittsburgs bats havent fired up yet. this years team is not as good a team as the record has shown. face it our hitting is streaky and overall our pitching is just alright. we might get a wildcard but not the division. i just dont see it. cardinals are to deep a squad. and they have some fcking amazing karma for some reason. There was a poster not long ago who posted in a quasi-haiku form. Who was it? And don't say LLF or WSR, because he never posted in haiku form. omg i can't believe this got by me is sontensei another incarnation of benny rodriguez aka neely crenshaw? oh god you're right

    Unless he gets torched I imagine it's Rosscup until Holliday and then probably Rondon. yeah, i guess most of the happy scenarios here involve rosscup not throwing many pitches in the seventh.
