    The fact that he has an amazing offensive upside combined with the positions he plays. Strikes me as having Roberto Alomar as a ceiling, which would be amazing. He was a total package type of player. Soler offense on it's own just seems to be potentially outworldly. Everything from "monster tools" to Sickels hinting at him being another Sammy Sosa. i feel like i want bukie to come reply to this post, but i haven't a clue what he might say

I wish it were a joke. Yes, let's make fun of the fact that there is finally a set of guidelines as to how to find, develop, and coach players at every level of this organization. I just don't see why people think "The Cubs Way" is something to poke fun at. i don't see why anybody takes it seriously enough to care in the slightest

    Only meatballs double post. the funny thing is this all wouldn't matter if he would have just clicked submit once i was going to give this a score between 0-10, but i think this is really more along the lines of "has the cadence of a joke" than "is a joke"

    Great point. We need someone to try that and hopefully expose the rule so that they change it. It's too bad Lovie would never be smart enough to do that. mike pereira said on twitter that that wouldn't work. if it could be reviewed in a favorable way for the other team, it can still be reviewed.
