  1. I'll take a look at the load times. The jump to post thing is super-aggravating, I'm going to see if I can some up with a better solution for that.
  2. Why so? I'm not a big video person myself but the young-uns almost demand them nowadays.
  3. LOL Wisdom is definitely going to regress. I'm less concerned about that happening than I am others picking up the slack. Seeing some life out of Mancini is a good thing to see for that reason.
  4. Sure, it's possible, but going into the season both Minnesota and Cleveland looked better than the White Sox. A month into the season, that's definitely the case. It's incredibly unlikely the Sox - especially with that farm system - find a way to flip the script and pass two teams that are better, have more depth, and have already staked a significant lead.
  5. We're going to rotate the game threads back to the start of the list, which means @Ding Dong Johnson is due up today.
  6. I’m have to start nudging my expectations for this team upward. They’re just playing too well, I don’t see them finishing under .500.
  7. I’m pretty amazed Smyly got out of that allowing only two runs.
  8. Nobody actually expected the rotation to look this good, did they?
  9. They probably need to, as it should shorten the rebuild process by a couple of years if they do it right.
  10. Splitting this off because woof, this tweet puts their record into context. I said they might be out of the race by May 15th. It's more likely they're already out of the race.
  11. Ah, okay, then I'll try to recreate the original list and post it again.
  12. @Transmogrified Tiger Yeah something is up there, adding it to the list of things to look into.
  13. Oh yeah, there's not much to read into this year - yet - but sitting at 12-12 isn't exactly a strong start. It's the kind of thing that happens to good baseball teams early in the season but it's not a ringing endorsement, either.
  14. Oh, I'm not writing them off in the slightest bit. I'd put them at no lower than 80% chance to make the postseason. It's more of a perpetual issue with the Padres where they add more levels of ridiculous talent, yet have disappointed during the regular season for several years in a row.
  15. Justin Steele on the mound again for the Cubs, taking on yet another season of an underwhelming Padres team. Yeesh, the talent level of the Padres versus their regular season record continues to be misaligned.
  16. I didn't expect the White Sox to be good but I didn't expect anyone in the ALC to be "good". The Twins and Guardians look like high-80s wins teams unless things really click for either team, then they have a shot to cross into the low 90s. But at this rate, the Sox will be out of the race by May 15th.
  17. Style is really up to you, we just avoid "screaming head guy hot take" stuff. This is the type of video we often publish on Twins Daily: https://twinsdaily.com/videos/minnesota-twins-minor-leagues/joe-ryans-new-splitter-could-unlock-frontline-upside-r598/
  18. This is the one I really like.
  19. A bit more than halfway! Let's use the off day to get things back on track a bit. If they're back in town, @PackLandVA is up next. If they're not back yet, @spaincubsfan is next. And if anyone wants to sign up again, please say so!
  20. Today's game looks like must-see TV as the Dodgers and a resurgent Clayton Kershaw take on Marcus Stroman, who has been exceptional this season.
  21. Yeah, I agree the Pelicans have the best merch. I really like some of their hats.
