The deal seems like there are a lot of names invloved, but it make sense for the O's. They get a CF with some potential upside, 2 stud minor league pitchers, a major league pitcher with a good arm, and a suitable SS replacement. While Cedeno won't put up Tejada numbers, he is not Neifi. What was everyone else thinking we would be giving up? I mean Tejada is one of the best, if not the best, SS in the game? I would be happy with giving up those guys. The questions is do we have money to get an adequate RF? I do not think Encarnacion or Jones would fit the bill.
