    What a good day...glad nobody jumped the gun on Hendry...LOL He still has a ton of work to get back to par. We need 2 more starters, a powerhitter or two and a way to get rid of Rusch, Bynum, and Dempster IMO.

    My mom and grandma always tell me that I should have been an announcer. I keep telling them they I dont have the patience and the teams dont have the sensor equipment when I watch a game. I swear a lot. Besides, I throw stuff.

    I agree...Soriano is not an ideal leadoff hitter IMO. Murton LF Durham 2B Lee 1B Ramirez 3B Soriano CF Barret C Jones RF Izturis SS We should trade for Tejada, that would be my ideal lineup. Murton LF Soriano CF Lee 1B Tejada SS Ramirez 3B Durham 2B Barrett C Jones RF Sign Zito and someone like Meche and/or Padilla, boom...bam...get the season on!

    As somone who followed the M's very closely during Piniella's "reign of terror" (thank you Jr Griffey) I will anxiously await the 1st day he gets kicked out ta game. That being said...I agree with the above view posts. I will hold judgement on the '07 version of the Cubs after I see how things shake up in the offseason.

    The reports I've seen haven't mentioned any minor leaguers at all. I have not heard about any minor leaguers as well. Its just Izturis for Maddux so far.
